Pirov Tojidin Tavarovichwas born on March 15th, 1965in Dangara district, in the family of worker. In 1983-1985he served in the ranks of Military forces of the USSRinthe limited contingent of the Soviet Army in Afghanistan. For exemplary military service he has been awarded by government awards: an award of " the Red star » (1985), medals: « For courage » (1985), « From grateful Afghani people » (1989), « For services in battles» (1990) and « in the 10thanniversary of Armed forces of the Republic of Tajikistan » with certificate of honour of Presidium of Supreme body of USSR. He is a colonel in the reserve. In 1990 he graduated from the Tajik agrarian university. In 1991-1993 he studied in full-time postgraduate study in Moscow scientific research institute of vegetable growing, was engaged in studying of technologies of storage and processing of fruits and vegetables. In 1996 defended the master's(candidate) thesis and in 2003 a doctoral thesis in Academy named after K.A.Timirjazeva inMoscow. He has graduated from the economic faculty of Tajik State National University on a specialty « the Finance and Credit » and faculty of Energetic ofTTU named afterM. Osimi in Dushanbe by correspondence. Since 2003 he works in combination as the professor of faculty « Technologies of storage and processing of agricultural products » of Tajik agrarian university. He is an author of 16 textbooks, two monographies and 200 scientific articles. Since May 1997 till January 2003 he worked as the trade representative of theRepublic of Tajikistan in the Republic ofBelarus. Since year 2007 he was Chairman of Supervisors Council of OJSC "Tojiksodirotbank". On March 17, 2012 he appointed to Chairman of OJSC "Tojiksodirotbank".

Starting from fourth quarter of the year 2009 and till the end of the year 2011, Tojiksodirotbank was one of major participant of EBRD project on development of small and medium business lending in Tajikistan.
