OJSC " Tojiksodirotbank " is established under the decision of founders according to the constituent contract of March 20th, 1992. According to Decision of Supreme body of the Republic of Tajikistan about establishment of Bank for foreign economic activities of the Republic of Tajikistan of March 11th, 1992 and on the basis ofbranch of the bank for Foreign economic activities of the USSR the Joint-stock commercial bank for economic activities of the RT «Tajikvnesheconombank» has been organized. The Joint-stock commercial bank for foreign economic activities of RT according to decision of Cabinet of the Republic of Tajikistan dd. December 12th, 1993 was renamed into the State Joint-stock Commercial Bank for foreign economic activities of RT «Tajikvnesheconombank ». On June 16th, 1999 the Charter of Bank with a new name the Open Joint-stock Company «Tojiksodirotbank» was registered under No.6 in National Bank of Tajikistan (it is re-registered in NBT in a new wording on April 4th, 2000.),now a charter of which is replaced by this version. Today, the perfect business reputation ofthe Bank, reliability, a long-term operational experience and irreproachable performance of taken obligations have provided to the bank an image of steady financial institution and the reliable partner. The policy of bank is directed on maintenance of high rates in growth of volume of bank services, increase of the bank stock, minimization of risks, increase of the level of client service, an establishment of long-term partner attitudes. Tojiksodirotbank holds the leading position in the basic segments of the financial market, forming stably growing client base and trust to Bank. About 20 percent of the equity of 12 banks of Tajikistan falls to OJSC " Tojiksodirotbank ". Attention of shareholders of OJSC “Tojiksodirotbank”! Due to celebration of 20-th anniversary of the Bank, and in accordance with the resolution of Supervisory Board of OJSC “Tojiksodirotbank”, the date of Annual General Shareholders Meeting is postponed on March 17, 2012.
31.01.2012Tojiksodirotbank and EBRD successfully accomplished the project of small and medium business lending. Starting from fourth quarter of the year 2009 and till the end of the year 2011, Tojiksodirotbank was one of major participant of EBRD project on development of small and medium business lending in Tajikistan. This project was implemented with the technical assistance of Swiss consulting company – BFC.
